My story from last 9 months

Dear Friends,

First of all very sorry for not posting any story about my small world, there are so many reasons behind it and you will know it when you read my new post which I am going to write now.

After celebrating Christmas and Sinterklaas together with the volunteers, we were all busy making a plan for New Year and our 6th Marriage Anniversary which was falling in the mid of January and you can imagine how much time it needs. I got a new job in the month of February and I was quite busy with it but on 16th February around midnight I had a severe pain in my stomach which we thought that it must be from the food I had in the afternoon. So I just took one medicine to keep the pain down and it really worked but next day I just thought for a checkup just to make myself clear about my stomach pain which I had last night.

We went to the hospital and doctor asked me to do the Ultra Sound and immediately after Ultra Sound I again had a pain in my stomach same like last night. The doctor asked us (me and Ajay) to go to the Emergency Ward and take some pain therapy injection to keep my pain less and till that time he can make the report ready of my Ultra Sound. So we did as he said and then within one hour my report came and doctor told me that my Ovary has got ruptured which has created an internal bleeding and they have to do the emergency operation of my Ovary. And then after half an hour I was on the operation table and my doctors gave me the full anesthesia and successfully completed my operation. I stayed in the hospital for 6 days but first 2 days I was just sleeping because of the anesthesia. Later my doctor asked me to take 2 months complete bed rest with very light food like a soup.

After 2 months of my bed rest my examination started for my first year of Masters in Anthropology and during my examinations 3 friends (Marieke, Henri, Bart and Cor – he is a friend of Marieke and Henri) of ours came to Nepal to give us a surprise visit which was the best surprise we ever had.

After finishing my exams and departure of our dear friends we were back on our normal life. Just now our biggest festival called Dashain has finished and next Saturday there is another Hindu festival coming called Tihar which is also called as a festival of life.
