Trip to Pokhara

Hello Friends,

So, here I am again to write something about my daily life experiences. Just fasten your seat belts and do not go anywhere while reading my story. Huh, where to start?? Ok, I start from the day Marieke Reijs (one of the old volunteer) and her friend Marianne came to Nepal.

Hey, it was nice to see them both in Nepal because we also met them in Holland (if you all remember my story of Berghem??). For the first day dinner, as we planned we went to have a dinner at La Dolce Vita – Thamel and and guys I had my favorite Salami Pizza again (yes Reinier, are you jealous now?), ohh it was nice pizza and a very nice company which we enjoyed a lot. On the second day of their Nepal trip, we had Dal-Bhat (traditional Nepali food) especially cooked by me and everybody like it. Then, for few days we had breakfast and dinner together with Marieke and Marianne. As it was a first time of Marianne in Nepal, so they went for a trip starting from Daman and ending at Bandipur and because of my work I told them I will join them in Pokhara. As I promised to them, I went to Pokhara to join them and when I reached Pokhara I got a call from Marieke and then we went to Mountain House to keep my bag in my room and then we went out for a lunch at German Bakery, Lake Side. In evening, we planned to have a girl’s night out, so we went to massage because they (Marieke and Marianne) were bit tired of all the traveling from one place to another. It was a nice massage and then we went to dinner at Teatime Bamboostan CafĂ©. After dinner, just for few hours we went to Club Amsterdam for a drink and came back to Mountain House to have a good night sleep after a very long day, especially after 6 hours of traveling.

Next day, we woke up around 10 and then breakfast and after breakfast we went to see Davis Falls. We reached there and I was really surprised to see the water level of Davis fall, because I never saw this much water in it. Ohh, God I cannot explain how I felt at that moment and how happy I was! At one moment I felt like a tourist (hu, hu), so we took so many photos and the main focus of our photo was the water fall not us. After that, we went back to Mountain House and Ajay also reached there just on time. Then, together with few Cola, we shared lots of experience which we did on our girl’s day out. In evening, we went for a dinner and then to Club Amsterdam and then a Good Night sleep.

Next day, as we planned Marianne first went for Paragliding and then we bought lunch and then went to Begnas Tal which was cleaner and quieter than Fewa Tal. We did boating for 1 hours and then came back to Mountain House to play with the kids. Then, we decide to come back to Kathmandu by bus instead of a car. Finally, we were back in Kathmandu and had a dinner at Maya Cocktail Bar where we enjoyed a Mexican food and yesterday we had dinner at Zaika and I am just back from dinner with them at New Orleans. Now, I am back at my place and tomorrow we are going for a breakfast at Organic Coffee Shop at 10.

So, friends now I should stop writing my story because tomorrow I have to see them early morning and if I keep on writing like this then I think I will go to coffee shop straight without any sleep, so friends, have a Good Night from my side and hope you will like it and see you soon through my blog.
